Frequently asked questions

What information do I need provide for my chart to be drawn up?

The date, year, location and as accurately as possible the time of your birth.

I don’t have my birth time. What can I do?

It varies from place to place. Sometimes it is already present on the birth certificate.  The hospital of birth usually has it recorded and it is possible to have it looked up by the records department there. Also the government Vital Statistics department may have a copy that you can write a request for. Alternately if these do not provide results a family member may know your approximate time.

Why is an accurate birth time so important?

The time of day sets the house system. Every four minutes another degree of the Zodiac crosses over the horizon which in turn will cause a shift in the position of your house cusps. Although much can still be read from a birth chart with an approximate time many details can become less accurate depending on how much time is off from the exact time of birth.

Can I bring someone with me to my reading?

Readings are best received on an individual basis. I ask that you come alone.  However well meaning company can be it does, in my experience, set limits on the depth and perspective that can transpire during our time together.
